PAIR OF LACQUERED AND GILDED MIRRORS LATE 18TH CENTURY
Period: Second half of the 18th century
Price: € 2.800

Elegant pair of small-sized mirrors, made of finely carved and lacquered limewood with lean tempera and partly embellished with decorations in pure gold leaf. The mirror frames are enriched with vegetal volutes, continuing also on the cyma, which ends with a refined chalice. The presence of the gilded decorations and their articulation give these mirrors a great sense of elegance and refinement, making them objects able to enrich any environment with taste and class. The mirrors are also original and coeval with the frames. Tuscan manufacture of the neoclassical period, around the late 18th century. Measurements: H x W x D 92 x 44 x 3cm
