Elegant chest of drawers with drop-front desk, veneered in precious walnut wood. The chest of drawers has truncated pyramidal legs, typical of the late 18th century, while the exterior and columns reflect the style and period of the Empire in the early 19th century. The front is decorated with two ebonized columns and consists of three drawers, equipped with lost-wax cast bronze handles. The last two drawers are ergonomic, ideal for storing objects, while the first drawer opens as a desk, thanks to a hinge that lowers the top, and features additional small light wood compartments and a leather-covered work surface. This beautiful chest of drawers is able to furnish any environment with refinement and elegance. Italian manufacture from the Empire period, between the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
