Refined pastel portrait on canvas, set in a carved and gilded wooden frame, protected by glass. The painting depicts the face of a gentleman, in half-length, dressed in period clothing. The man is represented with his face in three-quarter view, with blonde and wavy hair, blue eyes and thin but full lips. He wears a handkerchief that adorns his neck and a blue jacket embellished with golden details, which enhance its elegance. It is a work in which the stylistic and physiognomic rendering of the details can be appreciated; of great taste and refinement, this painting is able to give a touch of class to the furnishings of any environment. French manufacture from the neoclassical period, around the end of the 18th century.
