Refined centre writing desk in solid walnut carved wood, enhanced with walnut wood veneer and cherry wood inlay. The piece is in excellent condition, characterized by a beeswax polish applied with natural shellac. The desk stands out for its curved legs, typical of the period, and for the five front drawers, ideal for storing items, equipped with keys and locks in gilded lost-wax cast bronze. On the back, there are five corresponding false drawers. The carving in solid wood on the legs and corners of the desk, characterized by geometric motifs, further contributes to its refinement. Additionally, the inlay on the front, sides, back, and top features floral motifs and frames, enriching the entire structure. This is a writing desk of great taste and elegance, capable of adding a touch of class to the decor of any room. Typical Venetian (Northern Italy) craftsmanship, from the Louis XV period, around the mid-18th century.
