Refined pair of candelabra carved and sculpted in solid walnut wood, and painted with lean tempera. The two candle holders depict two young maidens, with bare breasts and a tunic that leaves one leg exposed. With one arm, they each embrace two torches, which have the insertion for the candle at the top. This is a unique and well-made pair: the candelabra, and especially the painting, are in perfect condition, making them particularly special, as this quality is rare to find. This pair, of great class and elegance, is capable of adding a touch of taste and antiquity to any environment. Venetian lagoon craftsmanship, mid-18th century.
