Elegant chest of drawers with a drop-front desk, veneered in fine walnut wood. The chest of drawers features truncated-pyramidal legs, typical of the late 18th century, while the exterior and columns reflect the Empire style and period of the early 19th century. The front is decorated with two ebonized columns and comprises three drawers with lost-wax cast bronze handles. The last two drawers are ergonomic, ideal for storing objects, while the first drawer opens as a desk, thanks to a hinge that lowers the top, and features additional small compartments in light wood and a leather-covered work surface.
