Important and refined oval polychrome stucco depicting a Madonna with the child Jesus. The mother and child are held in a tender embrace, and in addition to the typical clothing of the Madonna, two halos are visible. This stucco dates back to the late 16th century and is attributable to Tuscan craftsmanship. The work was subsequently inserted into a refined oval frame in carved and gilded wood with genuine gold leaf, to which three polychrome terracotta putti are applied, dating to the late 18th century. It is a work of great quality and refinement, capable of adding a touch of class and antiquity to the furnishings of any room. Measurements: H x W x D 55 x 42 x 14cm
