Refined small Florentine "commesso" (pietre dure inlay), with various hard stones inlaid on black Belgian marble. The artwork is also set in a hand-carved and gilded wooden frame, currently undergoing restoration, and a mat with faux malachite fabric. The commesso depicts a flowering branch with a small bird characterized by stones of various colors, which stand out against the black marble. This is a work of great taste and refinement, capable of lending a touch of class and elegance to the decor of any environment. Florentine manufacture from the mid-19th century, coeval with the frame. Measurements: H x W x D 38 x 31 x 1cm
