Refined oil painting on canvas, framed by a carved and gold-leaf gilded wooden frame. The work depicts a Madonna with the naked child Jesus in her arms, seated on a pillow. A particular feature of this work is the Madonna's intense, almost pensive gaze, as she rests her head on her hand. It is a painting of great taste and refinement, in which one can appreciate the stylistic mastery in the physiognomic rendering and in the shadows, capable of bestowing a touch of class on any environment.
