Beautiful and elegant center desk, with high-quality walnut and rosewood marquetry, and embellished with lost-wax cast bronze decorations. The desk is distinguished by its lyre-shaped legs, joined by turned parts and decorated with floral details in gilded bronze, with legs ending in feral paws also in gilded bronze, equipped with wheels useful for easy movement. The top has an inlaid band and a balustrade, also in gilded bronze, finely chiseled, which add further elegance. In the band of the undertop there are three opening drawers with gilded bronze handles: two of medium size and a particular smaller one, positioned near the right corner, functional for pens and inkwells. It is a desk of great taste and refinement, capable of furnishing any environment with class and elegance. Italian manufacture, which recalls the neoclassical style of French cabinetmakers, in the Napoleon III period, around the mid-19th century.
