NIGHT CLOCK SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY
Period: Second half of the 19th century
Price:
€ 1.800
Splendid and elegant clock in burnished and gilded bronze. The structure is presented as a neo-Gothic temple, characterized by two towers with spiers and central columns adorned with statues of religious figures. The rectangular base is also decorated with neo-Gothic motifs. The particularity of this clock lies in the glass dial, on which the hours are painted with Arabic numerals, allowing it to be illuminated thanks to a candle and a candle holder suspended on the back, thus making it possible to read the time even at night. The mechanism finally includes a daily spring winding. This is a clock of great taste and refinement, capable of adding a touch of class and elegance to any environment. Typical Italian manufacture of the second half of the 19th century.
