PAIR OF SMALL CHARLEMAGNE STYLE CABINETS EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Period: Early 19th century
Price:
€ 3.500
Splendid pair of small cabinets made of solid maple wood, veneered with thuya burl and finished with walnut details that enhance their elegance. The bichromy of the light wood, in contrast with the darker finishes, adds a touch of refinement, while the wood grain contributes to making these pieces of furniture even more charming. The small cabinets are characterized by onion feet and classic decoration with egg-and-dart molding under the top and at the bottom, elevating their design. Furthermore, the smooth burl top is a distinctive element. The gilded bronze hinges, along with an ergonomic door and drawer, offer practicality for storing items inside. This magnificent pair is capable of adorning any environment with taste and class. Central European craftsmanship from the Charles X period, around the early 19th century (circa 1820/1830).
